Signed Items By DEF LEPPARD, TWISTED SISTER, TESLA Being Auctioned For Station Family Fund
March 11, 2008Signed items by DEF LEPPARD, Paul Rodgers (BAD COMPANY),EXTREME, BOSTON members Tom Scholz and Gary Pihl, TESLA, STRYPER, WINGER and TWISTED SISTER are included in the Station Family Fund's online charity auction, which has just gone live, hosted by The Mimi Fishman Foundation.
The auction, which will run through April 3, will benefit the Station Family Fund, a non-profit 501 (c)(3) charitable organization founded by survivors of the Station nightclub fire.
The Station Family Fund is committed to providing survivor relief, including costs of ongoing treatment and rehabilitation for victims and basic home needs for their families.
Prevalent in the auction are the many guitars signed by the musicians who performed at the "Phoenix Rising" benefit concert at Dunkin' Donuts Center in Providence, Rhode Island on February 25, 2008.

On a related note, VH1 and VH1 Classic will simultaneously premiere a one-hour special of the "Phoenix Rising" concert on both their networks on Easter Sunday, March 23, 2008. Entitled "VH1 Classic Presents: Aftermath: The Station Fire Five Years Later", the program is a continuation of the effort to raise awareness about the plight of the Station fire survivors.
